Principle of treatment:

Mechanical Inspiratory-Expiratory (MIE) technique involves positive pressure inhalation to expand the lungs and fill the alveoli, increasing intrapulmonary pressure. Negative pressure exhalation creates a suction effect, causing rapid airflow out of the lungs. This action draws deep-seated secretions such as phlegm along with the air flow into the trachea, and then the secretions in the trachea follow the airflow to the throat, thus simulating the entire process of coughing and completing the expulsion of phlegm.

2. Technical parameters:

（1）The positive pressure suction parameter range 0kPa~+7.0kPa is continuously adjustable with an increment of 0.1kPa.

3. The equipment has 3 treatment modes to meet different treatment needs:

（1）Manual mode: Positive pressure inhalation and negative pressure exhalation parameters can be preset, and the single positive pressure inhalation and negative pressure exhalation actions can be performed through manual switch, and the single treatment time can be displayed. The inhalation flow rate can be adjusted in high, medium and low three levels.

（2）Automatic mode: positive pressure inhalation and negative pressure exhalation parameters, as well as exhalation, inhalation and interval time can be preset. The device automatically performs positive pressure inhalation and negative pressure exhalation actions through preset parameters. The inhalation flow rate can be adjusted at high, medium and low levels.

4. Oxygen function: For patients who cannot remove oxygen and suction, the equipment can be combined with oxygen suction equipment to carry out suction care at the same time, increasing the safety of use.
